Romantic Paper Tea Light Houses

These are not only pretty for Valentine’s Day but also great for any romantic occasion such as an anniversary. They can even be made in other elegant colors and then used as a decoration at a wedding reception as well.

For this project you will need:

- red, pink and dark pink cardstock
- hearts vellum paper such as one like this


- scissors
- ruler and cutting mat
- glue
- bone folder or stylus
- foam mat
- medium sized heart paper puncher - if you do not have one of these, you can print out one of the hearts templates in a small
  size and trace it instead
- 3-D foam tape

When using candles or tea lights, please do not leave them unattended. For added protection, use a small glass tea light holder and place it inside of the house.

Craft Patterns: Heart Templates Valentine Tea Light House Templates (If you are making this project using a paper punch or templates. This house requires 2 templates - one for the house and one for the bottom floor piece.) Easter Tea Light House Template (If you have a die cutting machine and appropriate sized die. This house is all in one piece.)

The four hearts that are left over from the aperatures can be adhered with 3-D foam tape to the the house for added detail.

Romantic light shining through the heart aperatures add a romantic touch to the room.
