Valentine’s Day Craft - Love Artist Trading Card

This artist trading card in soft colors is quick and easy to make to add to your collection of cards or to trade with someone else.

Love ATC

For this project you will need:

- scrapbook paper (heavy quality) in antique pink color
- a second sheet of scrapbook paper with design matching the color of the first paper
- clear dimensional paint or glaze
- iridescent glitter
- artist chalks with sponge applicator
- Sizzix Sizzlit (XL) “Phrase, Thank You, Thinking of You & Love You”
- Sizzix Sidekick or Big Shot and XL cutting plates
- or soft pink colored artist trading card
- small heart punch
- scissors and glue
- 3-D foam tape

Instructions:

1. Cut out an artist trading card shape out of the pink scrapbook paper.
2. From the paper containing a design, tear a piece and adhere it to the bottom of the artist trading card. Trim away excess paper around the edge of the card.
3. Cut out a heart from the heavier paper and chalk the edges with a darker pink color and chalk a heart shape in the center of the heart. Dot dimensional glaze around the heart’s outer edge as well as the center heart and sprinkle iridescent glitter on the glaze. Once dry, adhere the heart to the card using 3-D foam tape.
4. Die cut the word “Love” using the Sizzix Sizzlit and adhere it to the top of the card. Color the word with a darker color of chalk if desired, to make it stand out on the card.
5. Punch out a couple of small hearts and stick them to the card using a small piece of 3-D foam tape.
