For this project you will need:
- 6 mm plywood - brown acrylic paint - white dimensional paint - standard wood sawing supplies - drill with 1.5 mm bit - wire for hanging
Instructions:
1. Print out the pattern and transfer on the wood. 2. Dilute the brown paint with water to create a stain and then paint the gingerbread men brown and let dry. Apply one or two more coats to achieve the intensity of color you wish to achieve. Let the stain dry in between each coat. 3. Use the dimensional paint to draw the details and let it dry before continuing. 4. Drill a hole in the tops of the gingerbread man, the heart and the star. Drill 3 holes at the bottom of the sign as well as 2 holes in the top corners of the sign. Connect the pieces together using the wire. Twist the wire ends into a spiral as for a decorative look and to hold them in place. You can wrap the ends around a toothpick 4-5 times and then remove from the toothpick to curl the wire. Pull the ends a little out to loosen up the spiral.
