Origami Easter Basket

Who could believe that this Easter basket is created out of one piece of paper? This will make a fun group project for children as well.

For this project you will need:

- scissors
- sheet of paper cut to the size of 15 x 21.5 cm in size - scrapbook paper works really well for this project
- an extra piece of the same paper to use as the handle for the basket - the size of the strip should be 4 x 22 cm and then
  folded longways in half and glued together
- glue

Recommended for ages 8 and up

A whole group of these baskets were made to use as a table decoration for Easter.

After finishing one of these, it can be filled with Easter grass and eggs. Create a set of them and use them as a decoration for your Easter table. Or maybe you you can create one, fill it, and take it as a small token for a special someone. They are fun and inexpensive to craft.
