Spring and Easter Crafts - Paper Crafts - Easter Bunny Paper Chain or Garland

If you have any bare windows or patio glass doors in your house in the spring, you can give them a bit of color for the season. This project is easily made within an hour and you can vary on the colors to match your decor. This is also an easy children’s craft for ages 6 and up. Make the chain as long or as short as you need.

Paper Craft for Easter - Paper Easter Bunny and Eggs Garland

For this project you will need:

- tan cardstock
- rainbow cardstock with colors of reds and oranges
- thin red satin ribbon
- paper punch with flower motif
- paper punch with circle motif
- hole puncher for the eyes
- craft glue
- paper clips

Free Pattern: Hopping Bunny

Recommended for ages 8 and up

Instructions:

1. Print and trace the bunny pattern an the tan colored cardstock. For each figure you use, you will need sides (for a front and back). Cut as many bunnies out as you need. Cut out several same sized ovals for the eggs out of the rainbow colored cardstock.
2. Punch several flowers and flower centers out of the rainbow cardstock.
3. Cut out a long piece of ribbon and sandwich it between 2 pieces of a flower and glue in place.
4. At 1 inch intervals, add the next motifs and sandwich the ribbon between each new added motif. The second motif is the egg and the third is the bunny. Start with the flower again.
5. Continue with this until you have the length you desire.
6. Leave about a 5 inch length of the ribbon at the bottom and cut the rest of the excess ribbon away.
7. Glue flowers onto the bunnies and eggs.
8. Glue the punched centers to the flowers.
