Polar Bears Christmas Card
This card is perfect for those who have winter birthdays but yet Christmas motifs are not appropriate and the card is also very quickly made.
|
|
Polar bears are cute winter motifs and these happy guys cheer up any person receiving this card.
|
|
For this project you will need:
- white blank card - small leftover pieces of white cardstock - small left over piece of light blue or turquoise construction paper - paper napkin or fabric with polar bear motifs similar to those of this card - fusible web - 3-D pads - double sided adhesive - scissors - silk fiber paper in light blue - silk fiber paper in white - mulberry paper about 10 x 10 cm in turquoise or light blue or emboss light blue or turquiose colored paper - 2 sizes of paper punch with snowflake motifs - scissors - stick glue - white peel-off sticker with Christmas wish - two white mini-brads

Instructions:
1. Follow the instructions for making paper napkin applique motifs using fusible web. If using fabric, the instructions can also be applied. 2. Cut out 3 polar bear motifs, if possible facing in different directions and of different sizes. 3. Tear the mulberry paper irregularily out and stick it to the card using stick glue. 4. Tear small pieces of the fiber papers and glue them at random positions onto the card. 5. Punch out 3 snowflakes of two sizes and colors and arrange them onto the card. 6. Adhere two bears with the double sided adhesive. Attach 3-D pads on the backside of a third bear and adhere it now to the card. 7. Stick the peel-off sticker onto blue cardstock and cut out. Create a small hole in each of the top corners of the message and insert a brad in each hole.
