Christmas Crafts - Christmas Cards - Rocking Horse

Since generations rocking horses have been traditional presents found under the Christmas tree for young children. This card brings back those old childhood memories. This card was created using paper napkins but if you have fabric with rocking horse motifs, it can be used as well! Combine other elements you have to create unique Christmas cards that will be cherished.

For this project you will need:
- paper napkin with rocking horse motif - fusible web - white cardstock - blank white card - gold metallic netting measuring about 9 x13 cm - red mulberry paper measurung 10 x 10 cm - clear 2 sided self adhesive tape or foil - wooden gold stars - self adhesive 3-D foam pieces - scissors - stick glue

Instructions:
1. Follow the instructions for making paper napkin applique motifs using fusible web. The motif gets adhered to the white cardstock piece. If using fabric, the technique is the same as the technique for the napkins. Let the motif cool down. 2. Cut the horse exactly out. 3. Using the stick glue, glue the mulberry paper onto the white card stock. 4. Cut 3 strips of the self adhesive tape out and attach to the back side of the metallic netting. Stick the piece then onto the card. 5. Place the self adhesive 3-D foam pieces onto the back side of the horse and the gold stars and stick these pieces onto the card as seen in the picture.
