Paper Napkin Applique Using Fusible Web

Any printed paper napkin design can now be used to decorate cards and scrapbook pages by using this technique.

1. Choose design of napkin and cut it roughly out. Remove the bottom layers of the napkin. Cut a slightly larger piece of fusible web and lay it with the paper side down.

2. Using baking paper, fuse both pieces together with iron. Let the napkin cool.

3. Remove the paper side of the fusible web from the napkin. There is a film remaining on the backside of the napkin.

4. Fuse the napkin then onto a light colored piece of cardboard or paper.

5. Cut out design with decorative scissors leaving a margin around the napkin...

6. ...or cut the design exactly out, depending on how you wish to use the design.
