This card is perfect for those who have winter birthdays but yet Christmas motifs are not appropriate. The card is also very quickly made. Polar bears are cute winter motifs and these happy guys cheer up any person receiving this card.

For this project you will need:

- white blank card
- small leftover pieces of white cardstock
- small left over piece of light blue or turquoise construction paper
- paper napkin or fabric with polar bear motifs similar to those of this card
- fusible web
- 3-D pads
- scissors
- silk fiber paper in light blue
- silk fiber paper in white
- mulberry paper about 10 x 10 cm in turquoise or light blue
- decorative edged scissors (for example from Fiskars©)
- paper punch with snowflake motif
- scissors
- stick glue

Instructions:

1. Follow the instructions above for making paper napkin applique motifs using fusible web. If using fabric, the instructions can also be applied.
2. Cut out 2 polar bear motifs, if possible 2 facing in different directions.
3. Use the decorative edged scissors and cut the mulberry paper irregularily out and stick it to the card using stick glue.
4. Tear small pieces of the fiber papers and glue them at random positions onto the card.
5. Punch out 3 snowflakes and arrange them onto the card. Stick them on using 3-D pads.
