Tissue Paper Lady Bug

Lady bugs are liked by all ages and they are probably the most recognizable of all the insects. This is a fun craft for kids and all it requires is cutting, tearing and gluing.

Instructions:

1. Print out the “Lady Bug Template” and transfer the markings onto black cardstock. You will only need the part with the feet on it.
2. Tear several red and a few black tissue paper squares about 4-5 cm in size (approximately 2 inches). Wad these into balls and then glue them onto the body of the lady bug. The whole body can be covered or as in the image, a long triangular shape left on the backside to sort of look like he is ready to fly.
3. When finished, glue on 2 wiggly eyes.
