Spring and Easter Crafts for Kids - Paper Napkin Applique (decoupage) Easter Egg
Ages 7 and older
You can create a easy Easter decoration by taking small empty branches and sticking them in a larger vase. Then create homemade Easter eggs to decorate the branches. This particular egg is created by taking simple plastic eggs and using the paper napkin applique technique to cover them.
Tip: You can also use real eggs. To blow out an egg, you need to first wash the outside of theegg with hot water. Then poke a hole through the top and bottom with a needle and enlarge the hole some. Insert a straw through the hole and blow the inside yolk and egg white out. Rinse through the hole with hot water to clean the inside of the egg out.
