Paper Hearts Bouquet
These “flowers” are made using the same technique like the spring tulips created last spring but are hearts instead. They can be used for February for Valentine’s Day but are also a nice idea to give to a mother for Mother’s Day or for her birthday.

For this project you will need:
- heavy quality scrapbook paper in all sorts of pink heart patterns - heavy quality scrapbook paper in a light green pattern - wooden skewers - green acrylic paint - paint brush - craft glue - foam pad or the backside of an used mouse pad - stylus or the flat side of a dull knife - bone folder or the flat side of a dull knife
Ages 9 and older

Instructions:
1. Print out the template for this project so that the largest heart is about 8.5 cm maxium height. 2. Follow the tutorial below for the tulips. The technique for assembling the heart onto the skewer is the same, except you are using heart shapes instead of tulip shapes. 3. For the leaf, cut one leaf shape out of the green paper and glue it onto the stick. Use paperclips to hold the heart together and a clothespin to hold the leaf in place until the glue dries as you see in the image here:
