Valentine’s Day Card - “Be Mine”

The textures on the paper and the embossed letters were created using the Sizzix Big Shot with Sizzix folders and dies. If you do not possess these items, you can also purchase embossed cardstock instead.

|
For this project you will need:
- white card
- light pink and pink cardstock
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Sizzix embossing folder of choice
- 2 red and 2 pink heart beads
- 4 pink hearts with holes
- beading wire
- medium heart punch
- decoratived edged scissors
- light pink ribbon
- 3-D foam pads
- craft glue and stick glue
- clear tape

Instructions:
1. Cut out each a light pink and pink stripe of cardstock that is the height of the card and almost half the width. The light pink stripe should be a bit wider than the pink stripe. On one long side of each stripe, cut the edge with decorative edged scissors.
2. Emboss the pink stripe through the Sizzix Big Shot and then adhere it to the light pink stripe so that both jagged edges are on the same side and the light pink is appearing from behind the pink stripe.
3. Bead your wire with the hearts. Tape both ends of the wire to the back side of the pink stripe. Now adhere the stripe including the beaded wire to the left side of the card.
4. Cut out three sizes of hearts. Emboss the middle sized heart and then adhere it onto the largest heart using stick glue. Adhere then the smallest heart onto the middle sized heart using 3-D foam tape. Cut a piece ribbon and create a bow and adhere this then to the center of the smallest heart. Now glue the entire heart stack to the card.
5. Emboss a small piece of pink cardstock and then punch out 2 hearts from this piece. Glue these onto the card.
