Spring Decorations Using Washi Tape

With a couple of rolls of washi tape, you can transform everyday items you already have into seasonal decorations in a short time. When the season is over, the tape can be removed from surfaces such as glass or ceramic, so they can be reused again for other occasions. Here a glass cylinder vase, glass tea light holders and tea lights were transformed into spring adornments within minutes.

For this project you will need:

- washi tape in the colors of pink and pink/ white stripes


- glass cylinder vase
- glass tea light holders
- tea lights

The vase was first embellished horizontally with three solid stripes from the top. Then all of the stripe vertical stripes were added. Then two solid horizontal stripes were added again.

The tea light holders were simply embellished with vertical stripes that alternated in color.

The tea lights have a perfect height for the washi tape and with it, become instant decorations in themselves.
