Spring Flower Pot

If you want to brighten up your window sill for the spring and summer months, you can easily do so by adding paint and paper napkins to simple terracotta flower pots.

For this project you will need:

- terracotta pot in a size of your choice
- paper napkin with motif of choice
- white paint
- second paint in a darker color that matches the paper napkin
- crackling medium
- soft and flat paint brush

Instructions: (this project requires more time due to the drying time needed in between the first few steps)

1. First base paint your pot in the darker color and let it dry completely before continuing.
2. Paint a coat of crackling medium onto the pot and again let it dry completely before continuing.
3. Now comes the fun part... brush a coat of white paint onto the pot. Make sure not to go over your previous brush strokes or you will damage the crackling effect of the medium. Cover the pot completely with white paint and let it dry before continuing.
