Spring and Easter Crafts for Kids - Fuse Bead Crafts - Fuse Beads Duck

Go outside and find an interesting branch that can be placed into a vase afterwards. Let the kids create fuse bead projects such as this duck to decorate the branch. The more the kids make, the more colorful and springlike the branch will become.

For this project you will need:
- yellow, light yellow, black and orange fuse beads
- fuse bead peg board (15 x 15 cm in size (30 x 30 pegs)
- iron
- baking paper
- clear string for hanging
Ages 7 and older

Instructions:
* Parents should assist the kids when ironing the fuse beads to prevent any injuries. Supervision is always recommended when using any hot item such as a glue gun or iron around kids.
1. Print out the pattern and use it as a guide for placing the beads on the peg board.
2. Once the duck is complete, place a piece of baking paper over the figure. Heat up the iron to a cotton setting and then iron over the paper. This will melt the beads together.
3. Let the duck dry about 3 minutes and then remove the paper. Now the duck can also be carefully removed. Attach a clear string for hanging.
