Duck Card
If you know a young child who has a birthday coming up, craft that child a personal birthday card using paper napkin applique. It is so easy and you can create a card to match your taste. The selection of paper napkin motifs is huge and if you do not like to use napkins, you can also look at a fabric store. There is also a large selection of fabrics with all types of children’s motifs. This particular motif came from a paper napkin.

For this project you will need:
- paper napkin or fabric with duck motif (or other motif of choice) - white card with matching envelope - cardstock to match your motif) - paper ribbler - white cardstock - fusible web - piece of white fiber paper - small hole puncher - 2 mini turquoise colored brads - motif puncher with sunshine - stick glue - strong double-sided adhesive - 3-D foam tape - peel-off sticker with birthday wish - blue permanent pen or permanent pen especially made for coloring peel-off stickers

Instructions:
1. Cut out of the colored cardstock a long triangle and place it through the paper ribbler to give it a corrugated look. Use the stick glue to glue this piece onto the blank white card, on the left side. 2. Prepare the paper napkin or fabric as instructed below in the link. Cut the motif out to a square shape or shape that best fits the motif. 3. Use the stick glue and glue the motif onto colored cardstock and then cut it out again with a very small border. 4. Glue a piece of fiber paper randomly on the card so that it covers part of the corrugated blue triangle and also the card. 5. Adhere the prepared motif using 3-D foam tape over the fiber paper. 6. Color the peel-off sticker and then adhere it onto white cardstock. Cut it out in a rectangle shape and then glue the shape onto colored cardstock. Cut it out again with a small border. Punch a hole in both top corners of the rectangle and insert the brads. Now adhere the wish now onto the card with double-sided adhesive. 7. Punch a sunshine motif out use the stick glue to adhere it to the card.
