It is a Danish Christmas tradition is making these paper heart bags for the children to hang on the Christmas tree. Each child receives one of these sweets filled bags. In Denmark these hearts are cale Julehjerte. Follow the step-by-step tutorial and use our pattern to create your own to decorate your tree this year. - 2 types of Christmas paper or construction paper
- pencil
- double sided adhesive tape or glue
- scissors
- pattern

A highlight of the Swedish Christmas season is the holiday of St. Lucia which is celebrated on December 13th. It is the festival of light and the oldest daughter of each family becomes St. Lucia and wears a crown of candles on her head and is dressed in a white robe with a red sash at the waist. She goes through the town passing out Christmas cookies.
