Easy Fall Tag with Leaves

This simple tag is made within 5 minutes and is perfect for decorating autumn packages, cards, scrapbook pages, etc... The die used for this project is from Joy Crafts, a company of the Netherlands. This product is available to European customers but possibly not to the rest of the world. You may need to substitute a template available in your area if you cannot find this product.



Easy Fall Tag

For this project you will need:

- rectangle tag shape
- beige paper
- orange textured cardstock
- dark yellow textured cardstock
- leaves cutting and embossing die
- Spellbinders Nestabilites Large Deckled Rectangles - find rectangle to fit tag shape
- compatible die cutting machine for the template
- stick glue
- hole puncher
- ribbon

This is the template that was used to make the leaves.


1. Adhere the beige paper to cover both sides of the tag.
2. Die cut and emboss a rectangle and adhere it to one side of the tag.
3. Die cut and emboss the leaves and arrange them in a pleasing way onto the tag.
4. Punch a hole through the top of the tag.
5. Tie a piece of ribbon through the hole for hanging.

You can go a step further if you would like to add color to the leaves by enhancing the details with colored chalk.
