Fall Paper Craft - Country Gift Tag with Sunflowers

This tag has a warm autumn look to it with its shades of yellows, orange and brown and the use of fabric gives it a nice country charm. Seed beads adorn the sunflowers to give the tag extra dimension.

Sunflowers GiftTag

For this project you will need:

- rectangle shaped tag
- beige scrapbook paper
- white cardstock
- Kansas Song Fabric by Susan Winget for Benartex

- iron
- pricking needle and pricking pad
- thread in matching color and needle for sewing

Instructions:

1. Cover your tag with the scrapbook paper on both sides and punch a small hole at the top of the tag.
2. Cut out the fabric sunflower strip from the fabric and use stick glue to adhere it to the tag. This will prevent the fabric from moving during the next step.
3. Use your sewing machine and sew a decorative border around the entire fabric piece onto the tag.

4. Iron fusible web to the backside of the same strip of sunflowers on the fabric. Remove the paper backing then fuse this strip to a piece of white cardboard. Once cool, cut out the 3 individual sunflowers.
