A cornucopia is a traditional Thanksgiving motif and looks great as a window design in the fall. The advantage of the finished pictures is that they also adhere to any smooth surface such as glass, metal or tile so you are not limited with what you can decorate with them. With such glass paints you can create beautiful glass decorations that can easily be removed again and saved for next year.
For this project you will need:
- Gallery Glass window paints or other brand of window paints in the colors of orange, terracotta, light brown, dark brown, purple, red, yellow, and sand - black outliner paint - 2 mm thick window color foil or acetate
1. Print out and trace your motif on the foil using the outliner paint. Let it dry at least 2 hours. 2. Fill in areas with appropriate colored paints and let paint dry 24 hours. 3. Cut the motif exactly out and press painted side to the window.
