Scarecrow Plant Poke
This scarecrow will most likely not scare away any crows this fall but he will look cute decorating your plants. You can alternate fabric colors for his clothes if you like and add other embellishments like a crow on his shoulders or patches on his wardrobe.

Instructions:
1. Use your 6mm stick and poke a hole in the styrofoam ball. Place a drop of hot glue in the hole of the styrofoam ball and insert the ball on the stick. 2. Paint the styrofoam ball beige and let it dry. 3. Dot 2 black eyes on the scarecrow and paint a larger red triangle for the nose. Paint a large smile. Once the face paint is dry, add small white light reflections on the eyes and nose. Let dry. 4. Fold the green fabric in half and fold in half again to get a small square. Snip a hole in what will be the center of the large square and slip the hole over the stick under the head.Cut a 25 cm piece of wired rope and wrap it around the stick once close to the top below under the fabric. Use hot glue if necessary to hold the rope in place. 5. Take a few 7 cm pieces of raffia and add them around one end of the rope for the hands, covering the end of the rope. Use a piece of raffia to tie the pieces in place. Repeat for the 2nd hand. 6. Let the fabric drape evenly over the rope arms and tie off at the waist with a piece of raffia. 7. For the hair, take a small bundle of raffia about 10-15 cm long and tie off at the center of the bundle. Pull the ends in place and hot glue on top of the head. 9. Hot glue the straw hat on the head. 10. Hot glue the button on the straw hat. 11. Tie the scarf around the neck of the scarecrow and bend the arms into place as you like.
