Fuzzy Gingerbread Men Ornaments
These gingerbread men are as soft as teddy bears and just as cute. All you need to make them is cardboard boxes (thicker quality), fuzzy yarn and embellishments.

For two gingerbread men you will need:
- empty cardboard box (thick like those for mailing packages) - fuzzy yarn - we used a 50g skein of yarn from Schachenmayr “Sheila Soft Mini”, color number: 00111 or “Toffee” (here is an English language link on their site where the yarn can be found: Schachenmayr - about 50 centimeters of white rick-rack - four 4 mm black wooden beads - two 6 mm red wooden beads - red and white striped ribbon - white star button - craft glue - tape - large gingerbread man cookie cutter (about 13 centimeters in size) or one of our gingerbread man patterns (print out to a size of about 13 centimeters)

Instructions:
1. Trace the cookie cutter (or print out one of the patterns) onto carboard and cut out the gingerbread man. 2. Tape one end of the yarn to the back side of the cardboard and start winding the yarn around the cardboard until it is completely covered. When that is the case, cut the yarn and knot the other end on the back side. 3. Cut four x 5 centimeter pieces of rick-rack and glue these to the arms and legs. 4. Glue on the star, the two black beads for the eyes and one red bead for the nose. 5. Create a mini bow and glue it to the neck area of the gingerbread man.
