Fall Pumpkin Window Decoration

In the autumn, the days start to get cooler and shorter. Thoughts of falling leaves and pumpkin patches come to mind. Why not decorate your windows with such motifs to represent the season. These are transparent and decorative and are made with just paper napkins and self sticking foil.

For this project you will need:

- paper napkin with motif of choice - here we used a pumpkin and leaves
- self-adhesive foil like clear contact paper
- scissors
- sewing thread
- needle for making holes

Ages 9 and older

Instructions:

1. Select the desired paper napkin design, and gently lay the self sticking sheet over the motif. You may also additionally stick a layer of foil on the backside of the motif to protect it against moisture. Cut the design out. Repeat until all of the designs are cut out.
2. Arrange the pieces accordingly and make a mobile out of them using the thread to connect the pieces together.

Parents or supervisors may need to assist children with this craft to assure they adhere the napkins correctly to the foil without wrinkles.
