Fall Craft for Kids - Recycling Craft - Cute Cork Mushrooms
This is a greart craft project for kids on a rainy and dreary fall afternoon. Depending on how many wine corks you have, they can create a whole patch of mushrooms that can be combined with straw and fall leaves to create a autumn scene.

Supplies needed for one cork mushroom:
- wine cork - 35 mm (about 1.4 inches) styrofoam ball - craft paint in the colors of red, white and black (the mushrooms can also be painted with a beige bottom and brown top for a variety) - white dimensional paint - 1 pair of small wiggly eyes - red half bead - craft glue - permanent marker - red colored pencil

Instructions:
1. Parents should help cutting the styrofoam ball in half. 1 ball is enough to create 2 mushrooms. 2. Paint the wine corks white (or even beige) and the tops red or brown. Let paint dry and paint a second time if it did not coat properly the first time. 3. Glue the tops onto the mushrooms. 4. Glue on the wiggly eyes and nose. Draw a mouth with a permanent marker. 5. Dot the tops of the mushrooms with white dimensional paint.
