Crafting with Felted Wool - Fall Crafts - Felt Autumn Leaves
Create each of these easy felt leaves in a matter of minutes to have simple decorations for your home. Use them to decorate wreaths or as appliques for felted wool fall placemats. Another idea would be to add a hanging loop to each and decorate a branch in a vase to resemble a fall tree.
For this project you will need:
- felted wool sheets 4 mm thick in the colors of red, orange and brown - golden colored embroidery floss - scissors - patterns below
Instructions:
1. Print your template out and create permanent templates for the leaf patterns you wish to use 2. Trace the leaves onto the felted woll and cut out. 3. Lightly mark the lines on the leaves with a pencil and hand-stitch the leaf veins on the leaves.
