Christmas Craft Projects - Easy Cork Gingerbread Ornament
Cork gives these figures a realistic look because of its color and texture. Years ago at a Christmas basar, small children were so disappointed that these figures were only decorations. So, be careful hanging these gingerbread men on the Christmas tree! They don’t taste well! You can also make many of these and arrange them on a plate as a table decoration. Any shape that gets used for cookies such as stars and hearts can be also used to make cork ornaments.

Instructions:
1. Trace pattern or use cookie cutter as a template for making these. 2. Cut out and decorate with dimensional paint as seen on the pattern. 3. Glue a bow to the neck. 4. Using a needle, poke a hole through the head not too close to the edge and attach a string through the head. Be care not to pull too hard, otherwise the cork could break.
