- Plain wooden plate with side walls - glass nuggets in color of choice, mosaic tiles or broken pieces of ceramic or porcellan - grout mixture - plastic gloves - old plastic bowl and spoon - mosaic or jewel glue - masking tape
Tip: You are not limited to wood plates. You can recycle used ceramic plates from your kitchen for this project.

Add a mediterranean touch to any simple plate and convert it into a treasured serving tray worth showing off! The mosaic technique is easy and with it, you can create many different items to decorate your home.

Instructions:

1. Add masking tape to the outside wall of the plate if it is high. This will protect it from the grout. 2. Follow this tutorial Mosaic Tutorial to learn how to adhere the stones and add the grout mixture. 3. Let project dry overnight and then remove the masking tape.
