Summer Crafts - Decoupage - Decoupage London Souvenir Box If you have made a special vacation, then you probably collected a couple of souvenirs, postcards and pictures of your trip. Create copies of the pictures you made and use them to decoupage a box to protect these treasures. Just by looking at the box, you know what is in it. Then when you choose to create a scrapbook with these items, they will all be together and ready to use. Approximate time needed: 90 minutes Supplies Needed: - Empty box with lid (recycle shoe boxes   or other instead of buying a new box) - black and white or antiqued copies of   vacation pictures - decoupage glue     Image 1   1. Make enough 10x15 cm or 4 x 6 inch copies of the images so that the top and side walls of the box will be covered. These copies were printed out in an antique color to give it a vintage look. 2. Cut about 6 images longways in half and glue these to the side walls of the box. Line up the bottom edges of the paper and box together and that what is left will be folded over and glued to the top of the box. See image 1. 3. Once the side edges are finished, cover and glue the top with your choice of motifs. 4. Add 2-3 coats of decoupage glue over the side wall and top images letting the glue dry in between each coat.
