Instructions:
1. Print out the Santa moon template so that it covers the complete page of printer paper. To create templates, glue the pattern page on the backside of a cereal box and then cut the pieces out. Now you have permanent templates which are easy for kids to trace around. This is especially recommendable when working with a group of kids. 2. Trace the moon and star once on yellow cardstock. Trace the hat twice on red cardstock (one in reverse). Trace the pom-pom and the cuff twice on white corrugated cardboard (one in reverse). 3. Cut out all of the pieces and glue the hat pieces first onto the moon. Then glue on the cuffs and the pom-poms. 4. Poke a hole through the pom-pom and the star and connect them together with needle and thread. 5. Poke a hole through the top of the hat and use the needle and thread to create a hanging loop. 6. Glue on the wiggly eyes. First glue one eye on. Then turn the moon around and hold the moon up to the light and you can see where the first eye is positioned. Glue the second eye exactly over this position.
