Pom-pom crafts are so much fun for kids and require minimal materials to create. Kids can be creative and come up with other animals to make.
The farm is no place for this adorable pig. He is in no mood to wallow out in the mud. Instead, he’d rather be decorating a child’s room.
For this project you will need:
- pink yarn - pink fun foam - wiggly eyes - black magic marker - pink chenille stick - craft glue - scissors - sturdy cardboard - circle templates
Recommended for ages 9 and above
1. Follow the instructions “How to Make a Pom-Pom” to make the head and body of the lady bug. The head is made using a 5 cm ring and the body using a 9 cm ring. 2. Tie the 2 pom-poms together to create a lady bug shape. 3. Glue on the wiggly eyes. 4. Cut 2 ear shapes and one 3 cm circle for the snout. Using the magic marker, add 2 lines in the center of the circle. Now glue the fun foam shapes onto the pig. 5. Cut 2 x 14 cm pieces of pink chenille. Fold both in half and glue to the side of the pig’s body as arms.
