Christmas Coasters

Every year we receive lovely Christmas cards and each card just seems to pretty to discard once the season is over. This project is a practical way to use up a few and add a festive look to your table at the same time.

Christmas Coasters 1

For this project you will need:

- 10 cm (about 4.5 inches) clear acrylic discs (flat like a cd)
- used Christmas cards
- decoupage glue
- stylus for tracing (impression can be seen but leaves no pencil marks)
- foam pad or mouse pad to help with tracing
- scissors

Christmas Coasters 3
1. Place a disc over the motif on the card you wish to use and use the stylus to trace around it.
2. Cut out the circle.
3. Brush decoupage glue on the bottom side of the disc and press it onto the front of the card circle.
4. Let it dry overnight.

Christmas Coasters 2
Such pretty motifs can now be seen again and again.
