Birthday Cards - Greeting Cards - ”Pink Collage Card”

A collage is a creation of a new picture by combining different elements and arranging them in a pleasing way. This particular card is made using that technique. By using different pictures, papers, and other items, a new card is created. You can arrange your collage cards by selecting a color theme or by arranging the items according to a particular topic. Make a set of these and experiment with various papers. The cards are interesting and no two cards will be alike.

Supplies Needed:

-
Old rose construction paper or color of
  choice
- white cardstock
- different pictures from magazines, cards,
  calenders, wrapping paper, etc...
- different papers like fiber papers, mulberry
  papers, natural papers, vellum, etc...
- thin decorative wire
- hole puncher and eyelets
- 2-sided self adhesive foil
- stick glue

Birthday Card - Greeting Card - Pink Collage Card

Instructions:

1. Tear the different elements out irregularly. The more irregular, the more interesting.
2. Experiment by laying the papers and elements in different ways. Once you like the arrangement, use self adhesive foil or stick glue to glue the pieces onto your card.
3. On this card, vellum is torn diagonally and attached to the top of the card over the other papers. Use the eyelets to secure it.
4. Cut a shape out like a heart and decorate it with wire if you would like. Use 2-sided foil or foam tape to attach it to the card.
