Maritime Seashell Votive
Are you planning a summer outdoor party in a maritime theme and need quick, easy and inexpensive table decorations? One idea would be to create this votive candle glass out of a recycled glass and a couple of collected seashells. The look is kept natural with the soft beige tones and this craft project takes around 15 minutes to make.

Instructions:
1. Start by heating up your hot glue gun. 2. Draw a line with the hot glue along the rim of the glass and immediately press the cording onto the line. 3. Continue adding lines of hot glue and pressing cording onto the line. You do not have to constantly add glue but a regular intervals. 4. Continue wrapping the cording around until you reach the bottom of the glass. 5. Cut the end off and add a dot of glue and press the end on it to secure it. 6. Add some hot glue to the front of the glass on the cording. Press 3 seashells together in a clover leaf form onto the still hot glue and press until the glue is cooled. You may choose to add more seashells around the glass or leave it with just one cluster. 7. Wrap 2 pieces of natural raffia around the glass and tie them off in a bow. Cut the ends off that are too long.
