Every year I find myself making a couple of these at Christmas I use them to decorate packages, the windows, the tree, etc... There is something so relaxing about folding four simple strips of paper and seeing how these turn into a 3-dimensional star within minutes. The first time I saw these years ago, I felt intimidated about them, thinking I could never learn how to make them. Then I bought a pack of paper strips and there was a black and white illustrated tutorial on the back of the pack. It was hard to follow but I was determined to learn the technique. I somehow figured it out. And since then, it has become addicting. On Craftideas.info you will find an illustrated tutorial explaining how to make these. I used four different colored strips so it is easier to see the steps. Below you will find links to the project, the tutorial and also to a wreath you can make using these stars.
The link to the project can be found here: German Paper Star
The link to the illustrated tutorial is here here (the tutorial is divided between 3 pages): German Paper Star Tutorial
