Paper Crafts - Summer Crafts - Paper Crow With Movable Wings

This paper crow is very easy for kids to craft within 30 minutes and it requires minimal materials to make him. He is afterwards fun to pretend he is flying because the wings can be moved in different positions. Punch a hole in the head to hang him if necessary. With other colors of paper, kids can create blue birds, robins, parrots, etc...

Paper Craft for Kids - Paper Crow with Movable Wings

For this project you will need:

- black and yellow cardstock
- small bowl or other round object to trace around
- 2 wiggly eyes
- 2 gold brads or brass fasteners
- strong craft glue
- scissors
- hole puncher

Instructions:

1. Trace your bowl twice onto the cardstock and cut each circle out. Cut one of the two circles in half.
2. Save the pattern of the crow’s foot to your computer. Print out the pattern for the feet to fit the circle used. Transfer the pattern twice onto yellow cardstock and cut out.
3. Cut out a long triangle for the beak.
4. Punch a hole on both sides of the complete circle. Also punch a hole about 1/4 inch or 5 mm from one edge of each half circle.
5. Match body holes with the wing holes and hold them together using the brad.
6. Glue on the beak, feet and the wiggly eyes.
