Tea Light Jar
Washi tape is just now becoming noticed in this country but is still not so readily available as it obviously is in other places. We love the look of it though and found a substitute that serves the purpose we were trying to achieve.

For this project you will need:
- clean and empty low glass jar - paper curling ribbon (we used two different ones - one in spring green and the second in spring green with white polka dots) - strong craft glue
|
|
Instructions:
1. Cut 4 strips (2 from each ribbon) of curling ribbon that will completely wrap around the jar plus 1-2 centimeters overlap. 2. Glue the first one around the neck of the jar and the remaining 3 at regular intervals on the jar. 3. Take 2 longer pieces of ribbon and create a simple bow. Then tear in the ends up until you reach the bow. 4. Glue the bow to the top of the jar and trim the ends if necessary.

Instead of washi tape, paper curling ribbon was used for this project and it turned out so well. Plus with the paper curling tape, it was possible to create a bow for an extra embellishment.
