The first step is to insert your wires through the clamshell fastener with the “open mouth” towards the wire ends. 2. Now add a crimping bead where you would like to have the fastener at and squeeze it tight with pliers. The crimping bead cannot be moved anymore. 3. Slide the clamshell fastener over the crimping bead. 4. Use flat pliers and close the clamshell so that it encloses the crimping bead. 5. Snip away any ends hanging out of the clamshell fastener.
