1. Cut any shape out of a piece cardboard. Simple shapes look the best. Using dimensional paint (any choice of color) or craft glue, draw a border around the shape.

2. Be imaginative. Add more lines, dots, sprials and other patterns. The more designs, the more interesting.
|
|

3. Let the paint or glue dry for a few hours. Take your choice of color of acrylic paint and paint over the entire shape. When dry, 1 or 2 coats may be necessary. A quicker alternative is to use artist gesso first. Once dry, normally one one coat of paint is necessary. Paint the other side when the first side is finished.
