Paper Christmas Ornament Craft Project

These look great no matter which color you choose for them.

Gold Paper Ornament 1

1. You need four 1 cm x 40 cm strips of gold paper or color of choice. You also need brass fasteners or gold brads.

2. In the center of each strip, punch a hole.

3. Also on each of the ends you will need to punch a hole about 0.5 mm - 1 cm from the edge.

4. Take your brass fastener and set it so that the prongs are facing upwards.

5. Insert each of the 4 strips through the middle hole onto the fastener. Lay the strips evenly in a star shape.

6. Close the fastener and lay it so that it is parallel with the last (uppermost) strip.

7. Starting with the ends of the uppermost strip, gather both ends by overlapping them and matching the holes. Hold the 2nd brad facing down and insert it through the end holes of the strips.

8. Continue this with the next 2 strips and repeat until all of the strips are gathered. Once you have all of the pieces together, close the fastener off. Tie either a piece of gold string to the fastener or you can also hang it using gold wire.
