Illustrated Craft Tutorial - Stamping and Wood Burning on Small Wood Slices to Use as Ornaments
Rubber or silicone stamps come in all kinds of motifs and designs for all seasons of the year. With them, you don’t even know how to draw and still can create lovely images onto your wood.

1. These are silicone stamps that were used to create the autumn ornaments.
2. Place one of the images onto the acrylic block.
3. Heat up your wood burning tool.
4. Cover the stamp with ink and then very lightly press it onto the wood slice.
5. Just enough so that you can see the image.
6. Then take your wood burning tool and just follow the lines as you like. You can use the tool to do some shading if you like to enhance the motifs even further.
7. Once you are finished with the wood burning, drill a hole at the top center of the wood slice, pull a piece of twine through the hole at the top and add a bead if you like. Knot the two ends together.
