Turtledove Wedding Table Placement Card - Turtledove

If you are invited to a wedding from special friends or relatives, you will need a card to write those perfect wishes for the happy couple. Instead of buying a card, you can craft this elegant card. The stitching requires a little time but gives the card a beautiful touch. Create elegant place cards for a wedding celebration using the motif found on this wedding invitation. You can stitch the doves for a beautiful accent or if you are lacking time, pierce the holes and leave them so. Adhere the dove using 3-D foam tape. See below to learn how to make the base of the card.

For this project you will need:

- textured cardstock
- white thread and needle
- piercing tool with piercing mat
- patterns below
- printer for text or text sticker
- 3-D foam pads

Craft Pattern: Turtledove and Heart Templates

Instructions:

1. Print the name of the person on the bottom short edge in the center if desired. Turn the cardstock over. Fold a 30 cm x 15 cm (12”x6”) strip of cardstock in the middle.

2. Fold one side to the middle...

3. ...and then fold the other side to the middle.

4. Add a piece of double sided tape the unprinted folded side and remove the protective paper.

5. Take the other folded side and place it over the tape creating a triangle form. The desired motif then gets adhered to the finished form next to the name.
