Tree Bark Star and Owl Wall or Door Decoration

This project is to inspire you as your area area may not have the exact articles used for this decoration. The idea here was to make a quick and easy decoration in natural shades of brown to give it an alpine country look to it.

For this project you will need:

- tree bark star
- thick strand of dark brown felt wool roving (you will need about 2-3 meters)
- brown grosgrain ribbon with white winter motifs
- 3 owl ornaments (one larger than the other two)
- any other decorations you may want to use to decorate your star
- hot glue gun

These are the supplies that were considered to decorate the star (the wooden snowflake tag did not get used)

Instructions: 1. Wrap the star first with the wool and glue the ends to the back side of the star. 2. Also the jute loop at the top was exchanged with wool as well to keep the look consistant. 3. Create a double looped bow and hot glue it to one of the small owls. Then hot glue this to the star. 4. Determine how long you wish the remaining owls should hang. Hang the ribbon on the two remaining owls and hot glue the ends of the ribbon to the back side of the star.
