My Heart Valentine’s Day Card

Express your love to your partner with a personal handmade card for Valentine’s Day or any other day!

For this project you will need:

- white blank square card (13.5 x 13.5 cm) with matching envelope
- red corrugated cardboard
- stick glue plus clear and strong craft glue
- red acrylic heart or similar
- 4 white heart shaped brads

Craft Pattern: Heart Templates

Instructions:

1. Cut out a 10.5 cm square out of the red corrugated cardboard.
2. Turn the square over to the smooth side and trace a larger heart (about 9 cm at the widest point) in the center of this square and cut it out. Using the cut out larger heart, cut a smaller heart out.
3. Adhere the square to the center of the card. Open the card and poke a small hole through each of the 4 corners, about 5 mm from the edge. Place a white heart brad in each of these corners. Cover the inside of the card with a second white square to hide the poked holes.
4. Adhere the smaller corrugated heart to the center of the heart cutout. Then glue an acrylic heart onto the small heart.
