Mushroom Birthday Card
Mushrooms remind us of the typical colors of fall. The brown and beige tones are warm and represent the changing beauty of nature at this time of the year. If you know someone with a autumn birthday, why not make them a card representing the season.

Instructions:
Use the photo as reference for placement.
1. Die cut the circle from the water color paper and a scallop shape out of the brown paper. 2. Cut a 3 x 7 rectangle out of the watercolor paper. 3. Cut a 6 x 14 cm rectangle as well as a 3.5 x 7.5 cm rectangle out of the brown cardstock. 4. Cut a 5.75 x 13.75 rectangle out of the scrapbook paper. Adhere it then centered onto the large brown rectangle. Then adhere it to the card on the left hand side and about 5 mm from the three edges. 5. Use your finger and rub it onto the chalk and then gently rub along the outside edges of the card, circle and small rectangle to give them an aged look. 6. Stamp the mushroom in the center of the circle. Add embossing powder and then heat emboss it. 7. Color the image using water color pencils and a water brush. (Illustrated tutorial in the link below) 8. Adhere the circle then onto the brown scallop using 3-D foam tape. Glue the scallop onto the card like you see on the photo. 9. Stamp and emboss “Happy Birthday” onto the small white rectangle. Then adhere it onto the small brown rectangle using 3-D foam tape. Now adhere them onto the card as you see on the photo. 10. Prick a small hole on the top and bottom right side corners of the card. 11. Insert a brown brad in each of the two holes.
