Lavender Wreath
This is an example of what you can create using fresh and natural materials found outside in yards or gardens. Lavender blooms in the summer and has a sweet scent. The bloomed stems can be cut and used to easily make this wreath for your home. This wreath is kept natural with just a thin ribbon as decoration. You can of course decorate it if you like.

For this project you will need:
- any size coated metal ring - lavender stems - green florist wire - lilac satin ribbon for bow and for hanging

Instructions:
1. Cut the lavender stems to a length of about 15 centimeters. 2. Group the stems in groups of threes placing the blooms close together. 3. Bind the wire to the ring and follow the basic instructions below for creating wreaths. This wreath is much more delicate to work with but the technique is the same. 4. Once finished, make a bow out of the ribbon. Use a ribbon to hang the wreath and tie the bow to it.
