Decorative Votive Candle Glass Cover

Within a matter of minutes you will have these pretty table tea light holders completed. It is a good idea for those who are having get togethers or parties and need fast and inexpensive yet pretty table decoration that fits to the occasion.

For this project you will need:

- a roll of transparent paper or vellum with decorative pattern or color to match your decor (the piece should measure at least
  50cm or 20 inches x height of glass plus 1 cm extra height)
- scissors
- clear double sided self adhesive tape
- clear glass tealight holder 5.5cm in diameter x 6.5cm in height

Instructions:

1. Cut the piece of transparent paper out to the recommended size.
2. Fan fold (pleat fold) the short side about 1.5 cm width and continue folding until you reach the end.
3. Place a strip of the double sided tape on the first pleat and stick it to the end of the last pleat. Or to be really sure, you can also use a strong glue. You may have to cut away one pleat if necessary if the beginning and end do not match correctly.

Caution is always advised when using candles and tea lights. Please do not leave a room with lit candles.
