Happy Easter Card

This is a bright and cheerful Easter card and is very easy to create.  Dangling eggs spell the words “Happy Easter”.

For this project you will need:

- 1 blank white card (10 x 15 cm or 4 x 6 inches) with matching envelope
- white and yellow cardstock
- yellow mulberry paper and
- yellow construction paper
- yellow fringe ribbon (with wire)
- paper punch letters H, A, P, Y, E, S, T, R or alternative letters (If you do not possess the alphabet punch set, you can
  substitute a marker for the lettering or even use rubber stamp letters instead.)
- ruler and scissors
- egg shape template or egg shaped die
- double-sided sticky tape
- stick glue
- small hole puncher

Craft Template: Easter Egg Template

Instructions:

1. Cut a strip of yellow mulberry paper the same width of your card and 6 cm in height. Adhere it centered onto the card.
2. Cut out 11 egg shapes out of the white cardstock. Punch out the letters for “Happy Easter” out of the yellow cardstock and adhere the letters to the eggs.
3. Cut two pieces of fringe ribbon each to a 20 cm length. Punch a small hole at the top of each egg. Assemble the eggs with the word “HAPPY” on the first piece of ribbon and the eggs with the word “EASTER” on the second piece of ribbon. Then tape both ends of the first ribbon to the backside of the card cover along the top of the yellow strip on the card. Then tape the ends of the second ribbon a little more than halfway down the yellow strip to the backside of the card cover.
4. Arrange the eggs properly onto the fringe ribbon.
