This little duckling has hatched just in time to enjoy the wonderful spring weather. This cute paper craft is simple for kids to cut and glue and requires minimal material.
For this project you will need:
- white, black, light green and orange cardstock - yellow textured cardstock (otherwise yellow cardstock) - hole puncher - scissors - craft glue - color pencils in a darker shade of the above colors
1. Print out and enlarge patterns to a size you prefer and transfer onto the appropriately colored cardstock. If making both sides then all the pieces need to be made double. Reverse the templates and trace to do the back side.
2. Use the pencils and color the outside edges of each piece in a color that is one shade darker than the color itself. 3. Then glue the wing and bill on the duckling. 4. Arrange the remaining pieces onto the grass piece as you like and glue them onto it. Use the hole puncher and punch out a circle out of the black cardstock and adhere it to the duck as an eye.
