Cork Bird Plant Poke

For those who like more of a natural look, this plant poke will fit perfect amongst houseplant and flowers. Because the pattern is simple with no intricate details, the cork can be easily cut with sharp scissors.

Cork Bird Plant Poke

For this project you will need:

- sheet of cork about 3-4 millimeters thick
- paint in dark yellow or color of choice
- small black button
- craft glue or hot glue gun
- sharp scissors
- natural colored and dark yellow raffia
- 8 mm thick wooden dowel about 60 centimeters long (or length of choice)

2. Paint the beak and the wing. Once dry, gluese these onto the bird.
3. Glue on the button eye.
4. For a quick set, hot glue the bird then onto the stick. Tie a two colored raffia bow to the stick just below the bird.
